Maybe it was fashion week or perhaps it was the blizzard, but I could not walk one block without passing some fabulously styled faux fur. Not just on the streets, but even at the Rangers game! I have been to a lot of hockey games, and I mean A LOT, but I can count on two hands the number of fur coats I’ve seen in a hockey rink. But there it was, so much fur, both obnoxious and tasteful, sprinkled through the crowd. And there began the faux fur envy and my mission to find some while in Manhattan. 

Top of my must shop list was Moussy. Moussy is a high end, casual denim line, started in Japan but landing stateside in Soho about a year ago. Their US online shop is not up to snuff, forcing you to order through their international page. So, it was a first stop once we got to Manhattan. 

While I went for the denim, as fate would have it, their faux fur was 50% off. So, I picked up this beauty and literally wore it out of the store and joined the herds of fur clad nyc women. Moussy mixes casual and glam styles so well. So, I paired my chic new faux with some casual rippys and my version of snow appropriate boots. 

Now, my mission is to actually WEAR IT, and not let it sit in my closet only to be worn during the holidays and girls night out.
